NHL Flying V Series, Dec 2021
I've tried to create an alternate jersey for every NHL team in the vein of the Canucks' Flying V jersey and the modern Stadium Series jerseys... A bit out there, hopefully without getting caricaturishly ugly or awkward.
Hover over/tap on a team for info and jerseys.

Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks get their webbed-foot D logo slightly tweaked to work as an A.

Arizona Coyotes
The Coyotes get a Monument Valley-inspired look with a crescent-moon collar thing.

Boston Bruins
A more traditionally-dressed team normally, the Bruins get a bespoke(d) design.

Buffalo Sabres
Buffalo gets a sword-themed shoulder yoke.

Carolina Hurricanes
Carolina gets an H made of hurricane signal flags, which has been done before in this logo by @Ti-Nick, but AFAIK it's never been a jersey.

Calgary Flames
Calgary's flame design is lovingly ripped from the old Atlanta Flames logo (RIP).

Chicago Black Hawks
Chicago's is based on their 2019 Winter Classic '30s throwbacks and the Municipal Device of Chicago.

Columbus Blue Jackets
Columbus's is based on the Ohio Flag, has a stylized and sublimated Ohio silhouette.

Colorado Avalanche
Just some edits to Colorado's Stadium Series jersey, which had a really good idea but not the best execution.

Dallas Stars
Dallas's old star uniform gets a bevel-tastic update to fit with their modern branding.
Also tried a map of Texas version.

Detroit Red Wings
To not go too complicated for an O6 team, I went with very subtle tire tread marks on vertical stripes for Detroit.

Edmonton Oilers
In a simple design I'm very proud of, the Oilers get an Alberta-shaped end to a sleeve yoke, and a massive oil drop!

Florida Panthers
I ripped the palm tree from their sun + palm + stick logo, and put it on top of a team-colored sunset! I've never been to Florida, but I imagine this is an accurate rendition :P

Los Angeles Kings
A crown—bejeweled to glitz it up for Hollywood—put inside a zig-zag chest stripe to emulate the Los Angeles city flag.

Vegas Golden Knights
Based on the Knights' "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign star alternate logo.

Minnesota Wild
This jersey recreates the scene in the logo a bit, forming a very subtle negative space M. The Aurora Borealis green & black colors are meant to give a bit of a '90s North Stars vibe, and use the original Wild fonts.

Montréal Canadiens
Montréal gets the red cross representing the City flag and the Mount Royal cross, but with an added blue stripe to maintain the Canadiens-ness of it... The fleur-de-lys, thistle, pine, shamrock, and rose from the flag appear above the player name.

Nashville Predators
I love the team's IRL use of a string pattern, so why not throw in the whole guitar?

New Jersey Devils
I wanted to do at least one map somehow, and I thought that it worked really well for New Jersey. Also tried a bonus version with a pitchfork!

New York Islanders
I tried something inspired by the Fisherman jersey's Lighthouse shoulder patch.

New York Rangers
An ever-so-slightly Art-Deco nod to the Empire State Building. The beautiful N.Y. shield logo from the Stadium Series jersey appears on the helmet and pants.

Ottawa Senators
I don't know why the Senators' latest update involved dropping the Silver Seven barber-pole angle altogether, but maybe they could restore the old-timey look in a futuristic way with this idea!

Philadelphia Flyers
So this one is inspired by the teal and black unused '90s Flyers jersey uncovered by icethetics, made to look like the Liberty Bell.

Pittsburgh Penguins
Inspired by the Steelers' '60s jersey, it's the Golden Triangle surrounded by the blue & white checkboard of the city seal.

Seattle Kraken
This one places a tentacle in the shape of the wave from the upper left of the Seattle city flag.

San José Sharks
The Sharks get a design inspired by their diamond-shaped alt logo.

St Louis Blues
Just because the Blues' unused jersey was horrendous doesn't mean we have to quiet down the trumpets! I'm proud of this one :)

Tampa Bay Lightning
Royal blue makes way for Electric Blue, with a the gradient shoutout to the Devil Rays because an otherwise simple design seemed to need an extra touch.

Toronto Maple Leafs
This one was another years-old idea that made its way into this series. The Toronto flag is great, so it gets more time to shine, along with the return of red accents! (Hopefully in the right amount!)

Vancouver Canucks
And now, the team that started it all, but with something very different from the Flying V.

Washington Capitals
And for the Capitals, a mix of the striping from the '90s blue jerseys and the Capitol Building logo from the '90s black jerseys, all in the modern color scheme.

Washington Capitals
This one is pretty much a direct adaption of the Jets' 1990s logo, with the contrail as a chest stripe.

BONUS: Atlanta Thrashers
Based on the defunct team's secondary logo.

BONUS: Hartford Whalers
Hartford's whale tail is already pretty suited to an otherwise no-fuss getup.

BONUS: Kansas City Scouts
The old Scouts' KC monogram is adapted to work better as chest stripes, and uses brown instead of red because someone has to.

BONUS: Quebéc Nordiques
Definitely gotta show some love to la Citadelle for the Nordiques! It gets some vintage white flair, too.
